We are pleased to announce you that the Deloitte Indian Services Group is organizing a seminar on doing business in India with a focus on tax planning for Indian investments.
Swift and broad based growth in 2010-11 has put the Indian economy back to its pre-crisis growth trajectory. The Indian government expects the economic growth for fiscal 2010/2011 to be 8.6%. As a result, the growing market in India continues to remain a primary focus for many Belgian companies.
Business practices, accounting and tax rules can differ widely between Belgium and India. Belgian businesses with operations in India or which are considering investing in India need to understand the other party’s approach. Like any other system, Indian tax law continues to develop and to evolve to its economic climate and priorities.
During the seminar the following topics will be covered: social law and immigration, tax aspects of setting up in India, India tax update, locating in India and tax planning for Indian investments. Mr. Pilippe Ghyoot of Puratos Group, Regional Director of India, Middle East & Africa, will share his practical experiences on doing business in India.
The seminar will be organized in collaboration with the Belgian-Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry at the Crown Plaza Brussels Airport Hotel on May 12, 2011 from 13:30 until 17:50. An introduction will be given by Mr. Paul Hegge, Vice-Chairman of the Belgian-Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry. A selective choice of other speakers will conduct you through the various subjects.
Mr. William Blomme, Chairman of Deloitte Indian Services Group and Mr. Paul Hegge are proud to invite you for this seminar and hope to welcome you at the Crown Plaza Brussels Airport Hotel on May 12, 2011.
You are cordially invited to attend the reception after the seminar.
This seminar qualifies for IAB/IEC purposes. A certificate will be provided as attestation of your partaking.
