Title of this event :  Innovation as competitive Tool.

 Minister President Kris Peeters reflected on his recent mission to India.  In view of the impressive increase of 57% of the business between Flanders and India,  he wants to make a priority of the cooperation with India by promoting "Flanders Knowledge Area"  next to "Flanders Port Area".

Most important for a good cooperation are good connections.  kris Peeters has obtained that there will be no new taxes on business trips to India, which will enable jet Airways to expand their hub at Brussels Airport.

Presentation by H.E. Dr. Jaiminia Baghwati, Ambassador of India to Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Union :
"Risks and challenges of India in 2012-2017".

Presentation by Baron Ajit Shetty, Corporate Vice President Worldwide Operations at Johnson and Johnson : "the pharmaceutical Industry : challenges and opportunities".

  The 2011 award for the best scriptum about India,  sponsored by the Belgo-Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry and   Jet Airways has been granted to Ms. Evelyne Gielen, student at HUB,  for her scriptum : Do International Acquisitions by emerging-economy firms create shareholder value ? - the case of Indian firms".

 At the same occasion a cooperation agreement has been signed between  the Indian business Chamber of Luxembourg (IBCL), chaired by Mr. Sudhir K.
